Are we better off today than we were fours years ago?

The Iraq attack without a plan of action has left us with endless problems. This president is so focused on his campaign that he has all but ignored what is happening in Iraq. He says things are better when more people are killed every day. Insurgents are gaining ground and running rampant.

He doesn’t take advice from men of expertise except Dick Cheney. We wouldn’t be in this mess, if he had.

Even if Osama bin Laden were caught today, it’s too late now. We’ve created hundreds of “bins” to attack and kill. We’re more at risk from terrorism than ever before. We need new direction.

This president doesn’t worry about deficits. Who, then, will pay? Children yet unborn will bear the burden of buy now and pay later.

Social Security is a safety net for everyone. Something you can count on at 65. If privatized, where will the funds to support it come from? Individual investments are fickle.

This president gave the pharmaceuticals a green light and free rein on prescription drugs. Even Medicare cannot negotiate with them, nor can we go out of the country for better prices. Another mistake.

This president was generous to the big corporations and the wealthy. But they’re laughing all the way to the bank.

Health care is unaffordable for the masses even if you do have a job.

Are we better off four years later? We can’t afford another four years.
