I wasn’t going to vote for the property tax cap because it would possibly reduce the police department. Now I am going to vote for it, and this is why:

A friend of mine was recently attacked by a gang of teenagers on Pierce Street. He suffered a broken jaw, palate, cheekbone and his right eye was damaged. It took four metal plates and 16 screws to hold his face together.

If the police department can’t clean up their own backyard, then reduce the force.

I don’t want to pay high taxes and not see any results.
