AUBURN – Lumina C. Blanchette, 82, a resident of 460 Minot Ave., went to be with the Lord Friday, Oct. 1, at Clover Health Care Facility, with her family by her side.

She was born in Lewiston, March 15, 1922, the daughter of Ernest and Delina Leclair Rousseau.

She was employed as a winder with the former Continental Mill, and was a member of the Auburn Catholic community at St. Louis Church.

She married her husband, Lionel Blanchette, Nov. 11, 1944. She raised her family and co-owned, with her husband, Washington Street Mobile Home Park.

Survivors include her husband, Lionel Blanchette, of Auburn; one son, Robert Blanchette and his wife, Anita, of Lewiston; one daughter, Therese Clancy and her husband, Terry, of New Gloucester; and also three grandchildren, Eric Clancy, and Peter and Julie Blanchette.

She was predeceased by her son, Alec Blanchette, who died in 1954.
