I am writing to express my support for Lois Snowe-Mello for Senate. As a lifelong Democrat, I find it necessary to vote for the Republican candidate with a record of exercising fiscal restraint. The same party has controlled Maine for nearly 30 years; we now have the dubious distinction of having one of the highest tax burdens and one of the poorest economies in the country. Lois is committed to fiscal restraint. We need change and Lois is the right candidate to represent Senate District 15.
