BETHEL – The Bethel Historical Society’s fall course, “Indian New England,” being held in conjunction with the course, “Molly Ockett and Her World,” will begin at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7 and continue each Wednesday for the next three weeks at the O’Neil Robinson House due to a scheduling conflict.

Sessions will include introductory information at the first class; the second (Oct. 13) will cover Molly Ockett and her times, the third (Oct. 20) will focus on King Philip’s War 1675-76, and the fourth (Oct. 27) will deal with captivity literature and later developments.

The fee for the course will be $20 for nonmembers and $15 for society members. Anyone wishing more information and/or to enroll should call the society office at 824-2908 or 1-800-824-2910 or e-mail [email protected].
