LIVERMORE FALLS – A Livermore Falls man has appealed the Planning Board’s denial of his application for a permit to operate an adult-only book and video store.
The Board of Appeals has scheduled a hearing on Wayne A. Parker Jr.’s appeal at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 18, in the courtroom at the Town Office.
Planning Board members denied Parker’s application for the store at 54 Depot St. on Sept. 1. The board found that he had no legal interest in the property, which is owned by his father, Wayne Parker Sr.
Parker Jr. had submitted a lease agreement with a revised application, but it was valid only for one week beginning Aug. 18 and therefore was no longer in effect at the time of the hearing.
His original application, submitted in July, wasn’t considered by the Planning Board because it was considered incomplete.
