WALES – Four different players scored goals as Oak Hill topped Mt. View 4-0 in girls’ soccer action Monday afternoon.

Magan Blais led off the Raiders (3-8) with a goal off a pass from Ashley Stein in the first half. Stein, Andrea Lane, and Hanna Gagnon each netted a goal in the second half to help propel Oak Hill to a decisive win.

Ashly Mederios was solid in net, turning away 17 saves for the shutout.

Mt. Abram 2, Winthrop 1

WINTHROP – Logahn Walker netted the game-winning goal with 4:49 seconds remaining the first half to lift Mt. Abram to a 2-1 win over Winthrop Monday.

Sadie White scored the first goal unassisted for the Roadrunners (5-3-2).

The Ramblers’ (6-5) effort was paced by Aimee Simoneau, netting the lone goal at 34:45 in the contest.

Field hockey

Winthrop 3, Mountain Valley 0

WINTHROP – Nicole Emery scored early in the contest off a rebound from the goalie as Winthrop rolled past Mountain Valley 3-0 in field hockey action Monday.

Ashley Burgess scored in the first half of the contest off a penalty stroke after Mountain Valley keeper Kim Clark held onto the ball.

The Ramblers’ (10-0-1) final goal was netted unassisted by Laura Kenney. Stephanie Curtis was solid on defense for the Winthrop victory.

Lisbon 4, Dirigo 1

LISBON FALLS — Kim Campbell scored a goal and earned two key assists as Lisbon defeated Dirigo 4-1 in a MVC field hockey matchup Monday.

Erica Merritt added two goals for the Greyhounds (9-3) and Brittany Dowdy also scored to help secure the victory. Lisbon goalkeeper Beth Williams was solid, recording one save on three shots.

Dirigo goalkeeper Dani Thomkins put up impressive numbers for the Cougars (2-10) as she notched 45 saves on 49 shots.

Cape Elizabeth 1, G-NG 0

GRAY – Kristina Scontras scored the lone goal of the game as Cape Elizabeth defeated Gray-New Gloucester, 1-0 Monday evening in field hockey action.

Scontras picked up the ball after a scramble in front of the net before slipping it past Patriots (1-8-1) keeper Marsey Pendexter.

Allie Hill turned away four shots for the shutout win for the Capers (1-7-2), while Pendexter made six saves for the effort.

Leavitt 2, Mt. View 1

TURNER – Tiffany Poland scored with 10:51 left in the contest to lift Leavitt to a 2-1 win over Mt. View Monday.

Lauren Doiron scored the first goal of the game from assists by Poland and Jessica Paladino for the Hornets victory.

The lone Mt. View goal was netted by Cheryl Stevens in the second half of the contest.

Boys’ soccer

Carrabec 7, Livermore Falls 1

LIVERMORE FALLS – Carrabec scored three unanswered goals in the first half as the Cobras rolled past Livermore Falls with a 7-1 victory in boys’ soccer action Monday afternoon.

Derik Jordan, Sam Shaw, and Ryan Trott each tallied a pair of goals. Jason Cummings added a goal for the Carrabec win.

Matt Labbe scored the lone goal for Livermore Falls off a pass from Corey Flagg in the second half of the contest.

Maranacook 2, Winslow 1

WINSLOW — Billy Ervin scored with 3:13 remaining in the game to lift Maranacook to a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Winslow in a KVAC soccer matchup Monday.

Andrew Mack gave the Black Bears (8-0-2) the lead with an unassisted goal eight minutes into the second half. Tom Martinelli had a strong showing in net for Maranacook to help the Black Bears hold on for the win.

Alley Smith scored the lone goal of the game for the Black Raiders (8-1-1) 19 minutes into the second half.

Winslow goalkeeper Tyler Levasseur kept the game close as he recorded three saves on nine shots.

Mt. View 3, Oak Hill 1

THORNDIKE – Cody Zane tallied a pair of goals as Mt. View edged Oak Hill 3-1 in boys’ soccer Monday evening.

Ben Pierce chipped in with a goal, while John Wentworth recorded an assist for the Mustangs.

The Raiders’ (1-1-10) effort was paced by Mike Eaton who scored off a pass from Jeremy Levesque.

Ross Caron turned away 13 shots for the win, while Jon Daggett made 16 saves.
