FRYEBURG – No injuries resulted from a camper fire at the Fryeburg Fair on Tuesday, according to police.

Police Sgt. Wayne Brooking said the fire was reported about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. The owners of the camper were off enjoying the fair exhibits at the time, he said.

Brooking said he wasn’t sure how badly the camper was damaged because he never entered the structure. Looking through the front door at some open compartments, however, he saw some charring.

The exterior of the camper looked undamaged, he said.
