LEWISTON – Marie “Germaine” A. Cox, 75, of 321 Townsand Brook Road, Auburn, passed away at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center following a brief illness, Wednesday, Oct. 6.

Born in Fort Kent, she was the daughter of Remie and Cecile Voisine Levesque. She was educated in local schools and was a homemaker.

She loved gardening, flowers, crafting and the outdoors.

She married James R. Cox in February, 1955. He passed away in August, 1980.

She is survived by a brother, Joseph Levesque, of East Windsor, Conn.; two sisters, Ann Levesque of Hartford, Conn., and Madeline and her husband, Bert Cote, of Greene; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband; and one brother, Robert Levesque.

She will be sadly missed, especially by Pauline Bernier and friends.
