Am I getting the correct message here? Are the union members at Bath Iron Works living under a rock or something? What was that all about in the Oct. 1 paper? Those people actually believe that under John Kerry they will have a better feeling of job security? This from a man who has consistently voted against the very systems that are designed and built at BIW?
If Kerry had his way, BIW would be building wooden rowboats instead of state-of-the-art missile cruisers or destroyers. Check the records. He even tried to get some the the very systems BIW is working on now canceled.
He is not by any means pro-military, never has been and never will be.
Jobs at BIW are tied directly with the military. There is no commercial shipbuilding in this country to speak of. So the very fears BIW workers have will come true if this man, John Kerry, is elected president. BIW workers can check it out. It’s all there, all public record. Read and think about it.
Should people really be trusting their future at BIW to John Kerry, a man who would like to put our country’s security in the hands of the United Nations? A United Nations that would not allow us any say in how we defend ourselves? Think about that.
