LEWISTON – The MOMs Club of Lewiston and Auburn will host an open house from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, in the basement of St. Joseph’s Church, 253 Main St. All children are welcome to take part in a Halloween craft.

The Mom’s Club is a nonprofit organization for stay-at-home moms and their children. They participate in established playgroups, educational seminars and play date events, for example, Pumpkin Land, Bradbury Mountain hiking and the Maine Wildlife Park.

Annual membership is $15 a year, which helps pay for the craft materials for some events and publication and distribution of a monthly newsletter and calendar.

Moms with home-based businesses or who work part-time, but are at home with their children during the day are encouraged to join. Also people who live in surrounding towns are encouraged to join.
