AUBURN – Expect to see political signs start to appear in the Twin Cities if they haven’t already sprung up.

Both cities limit the amount of time property owners can post political signs. In Lewiston, candidates for state and federal office, and ballot measure campaigns, could start putting up signs on Friday. Those signs need to be removed by Nov. 4, according to City Clerk Kathy Montejo.

In Auburn, political signs could begin appearing on lawns after midnight Saturday. According to the Auburn city clerk’s office, the signs can stay up until Nov. 9.

In addition to state and national elections, Auburn voters will select a new City Council and choose six people for a citywide Charter Commission.

Voters go to the polls on Nov. 2.
