This is in response to the letter from Gordon Hardy in the Sun Journal on Oct. 4. He must be dreaming if he thinks the Palesky tax cap is the answer to our tax problem.

Something needs to be done, but that is not the answer.

Those in favor of the tax cap will be the first to complain when they don’t get a quick response from a police officer, fire department or ambulance service, or when school activities get cut and there are long unemployment lines.

I am voting no on the Palesky tax cap.
