LEWISTON – Two more divisions began play this week in the Multi-Purpose Center Coed Volleyball League.

There are 4 teams entered in the A Division. Following are the teams and captains: Greeley’s Garage, Joe Gwarjanski; Just Over The Bridge, Cliff Thurston; Superior Concrete, Matt Mosher; Trytek & Sons, Beryle Martin.

Games are played on Thursday nights. This week’s opening results: Just Over the Bridge 2-1 over Superior Concrete, 25-18, 25-23, 15-25; Trytek & Sons 2-1 over Greeley’s, 25-17, 21-25, 26-24. Oct. 14 schedule: 6:30, Greeley’s vs Just Over The Bridge; 7:30, Trytek & Sons vs Superior.

A total of 7 clubs are entered in the B-2 Division, also competing on Thursday nights. Following are this week’s opening results: Janet McCarthy Realtor 3-0 over Rowe Builders, 21-17, 21-14, 21-19; Mountain Road R.V. 3-0 over Del Sol, 21-18, 21-14, 21-13; Fontaine Family 3-0 by forfeit over E.J. Drywall. Newcomers had a bye.
