I find the television ad against Question 2 on bear hunting by the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife outrageous. The department has their woman spokesperson, a biologist, defending the killing of bears with bait, traps and dogs.

This state organization should have a responsibility to promote fair hunting. They should be the first to decry these cruel and disgusting practices.

If this television ad is financed with public funds, I am more outraged.
