SOUTH PARIS – Roberta H. Davis, 88, of East Oxford Road, died Saturday at her home.
She was born in Norway, Oct. 5, 1916, the daughter of Charles and Elsie Morey Howe, and graduated from Norway High School.
She worked in the payroll department at Wilner Wood Products for several years, then at Casco Bank and Cliffords Rexall before retiring early to care for her mother and husband. Roberta was also a licensed real estate broker.
She was a member of the South Paris Universalist Church and Mt. Pleasant Rebekah Lodge.
She was an artist. She enjoyed antiques, knitting and other crafts. Roberta was dearly loved and will be missed by her family and friends.
On March 9, 1935, she married George E. Davis. He died Oct. 2, 1995.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Kennagh, of South Paris; a daughter-in-law, Janice Davis, of South Paris; a sister, Natalie Stearns, of South Paris; a brother, Douglas and his wife, Patty Howe, of Portland; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Sheldon.
