LEWISTON – Connie P. Dion, 83, of College Street, Lewiston, died Saturday Oct. 9, at Central Maine Medical Center, Lewiston.

She was born in Little Rock, Ark. on Oct. 11, 1920.

She graduated from Little Rock High School, and on April 4, 1944, married Joseph Dion in Little Rock. They moved to Kansas and then to Lewiston in 1945. In 1968, they moved to Winthrop.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling with her husband.

She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church, Winthrop.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Dion, of Lewiston; two daughters, Dorothy Dion of Spark, Nev., and Carolyn Sacks of Scarborough; a nephew, Dewitt Russell of Moore, Okla.; four grandchildren, Jay Sacks, Jeff Sacks, Brooke Phillips, and Zachary Phillips; and one great-grand-daughter, Cali.

She was predeceased by a son, Randy Dion, in 1992.
