LEWISTON – The Abused Women’s Advocacy Project, in collaboration with the Caleb Foundation, will host a Teens Against Violence Night at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, in the new River Valley Community Center.

Teens from the Oxford and Androscoggin County Voices Changing Choices program will perform skits that they use to teach youth about teen dating violence. The skits are moving and informational presentations that explore many of the issues that teens face while in healthy and unhealthy dating relationships.

Ryan Cook, a senior at Waterville High School and this year’s winner of Maine International Film Festival, will show his film “The Truth,” a 19-minute film about domestic violence that features acting and music by youth from Maine and Massachusetts. Cook will speak about his film and answer questions from the audience.
