LEWISTON – Laura M. Charloff has been named an assistant vice president in the Technology Department at Banknorth Group Inc. in Lewiston. She will continue to manage projects within technology, working closely with the bank operations and loan operations departments.

Charloff joined Banknorth in 2002 and has more than nine years of experience in management and development. She is a member of the Project Management Institute.

An Auburn resident and native, Charloff volunteers knitting hats for Caps for Kids. She received a master’s degree in business administration in 1992 and an undergraduate degree in 1990 from Bentley College in Waltham, Mass. Charloff is a 1996 graduate of Edward Little High School.
