TURNER – The music department of Leavitt Area High School will host a marching band show Saturday, Oct. 16, at Libby Football Field in Turner Center. It will start at 6 p.m. and feature performances by high school marching bands from Edward Little, Wells, Old Orchard Beach, Lawrence, Lewiston and Leavitt.
The host band from Leavitt will perform four songs from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.” The high school students make use of color, intricate field maneuvers and solos to bring the drama of the show to life on the football field.
Admission will be $5 for adults, $3 for students and senior citizens, with a family price of $15. FMI: call 225-3533.
