TOWNSHIP C – A story that appeared on B1 of the River Valley edition on Wednesday, Oct. 6, incorrectly stated that the Friends of Richardson Lake, Trout Unlimited, camp owners and Rangeley Lakes Heritage Trust voiced stiff opposition to Union Water-Power Co.’s 12-lot subdivision along Lower Richardson Lake and the Rapid River. Additionally, LURC was not forced to convene a public hearing on the proposal, but did so at the request of the groups listed above. The information was incorrectly reported.
