LITCHFIELD – The calendar for the remainder of October has been announced for the Senior Center at the Litchfield Academy Community Building

Monday, Oct. 18: Center is open from 1 to 4 p.m.; meet neighbors, have a cup of coffee and visit. They will create groups for exercise and other interests and activities. Select from cards, walking, exercise, needlework, painting, book discussion or bring an idea for something to do.

Trip leaving at 9 a.m.: Meet at St. Leo’s Church for “Road Runners” trip to Christmas Tree Shop, South Portland. Lunch out. Space on bus is limited to 47 persons; to reserve a seat call Sharon at 268-2067.

Friday, Oct. 22: Center is open from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; 9:45 to 10:30, exercise group formation and activity such as walking, tai chi, for those interested; 10:45 to 11:30, exercises for the less active; 11:30 to 12:30, bring lunch; 12:30 to 2:30, interest group formation and activities such as cards; other interest groups as signed up for on opening day.

Monday, Oct. 25: Center open 1 to 4 p.m.; 1 to 2 p.m., monthly business meeting; 2 to 4, Halloween party with games, refreshments; costumes encouraged, but not necessary.

Friday, Oct. 29: Center open 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; 9:45 to 10:30, exercise groups, followed by exercise for the less active; 11:30 to 12:30, BYO lunch; 12:30 to 1, October birthdays; 1 to 2:30, interest group formation and activities.
