I find it truly offensive that during a television ad opposing Question 2, the fair-hunting referendum, that a lady makes what sounds like a disparaging reference to becoming “another welfare case.”

If I were a recipient of welfare, I would feel like I were being attacked every time that ad airs on television.

Regardless of how I feel about the actual referendum question, I feel that whatever validity the lady’s message may have, it is outweighed by the ignorance of that one statement.
