I urge re-election of Bruce Bryant as state senator, District 14.

Sen. Bryant has served the people of his district with distinction as chairman of both the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Forestry and Conservation and the Committee on Fish and Wildlife.

Bruce led efforts to sustain forestry, agriculture, wildlife resources and scenic landscapes that provide the foundation for jobs, service businesses, hunting and fishing. These assets attract high-tech industries, tourists and retirees, and give quality to all our lives.

Respected in Augusta, Bruce forged a consensus for regulations to control liquidation harvesting of our forests, drafted by the Maine Forest Service, working with landowners, foresters, loggers, industries and environmentalists. Bruce sponsored legislation to help dairy farmers survive, critical to our district’s economy.

He led legislation to enable the uninsured to obtain health care and to reduce insurance and drug costs.

Bruce has demonstrated foresight and proven leadership.
