LOCKE MILLS – Donkey Tuesday, an evening of food, music and fun hosted by the Oxford County Democrats, will occur on Tuesday, Oct. 19, at the Locke Mills Legion Hall at 5:30.

Chairperson Jan Kubiac has announced confirmed participation by several musicians, including accordionist Peter Blackstone, Common Drum, The Fluteman, as well as Don Murphy and friends. Additional musical participants will be added.

Silent auction items will include a weekend in Boston at a condo on Beacon Hill near the home of Sen. John Kerry. Donations of items for the auction are welcome.

A variety of political guests will be in attendance, including Conservation Commissioner Patrick McGowan, House 91 candidate Tim Carter, state Sen. Bruce Bryant of Dixfield.

The meal will feature lasagna. Tickets are $8 general admission, $5 for seniors and children under 12.
