FARMINGTON – University of Maine at Farmington’s College Democrats will be all abuzz Wednesday.

Club member Brendan Maheu announced late Monday afternoon that Andre Heinz, son of Teresa Heinz Kerry, will be stumping for his stepfather, Sen. John Kerry, at 2:30 p.m. at the University of Maine at Farmington, Olsen Student Center, north dining hall B.

Heinz, 34, holds a master’s degree in environmental studies from the Yale University School of Forestry and works for the Natural Step, a consulting firm that advises the public and private sectors on sustainable living concepts.

Following his brother Chris’ recent visit to the state, Andre is expected to speak about environmental issues as well as the importance of getting out the vote, according to a press release.
