LEWISTON – Marie Ange Bournival, 82, of 54 Rosedale Acres, passed away Sunday afternoon, Oct. 17, at d’Youville Pavilion with her family at her side.
She was born in St. David, Aug. 25, 1922, a daughter of Joseph and Suzanna (Lagasse) Cyr. On Sept. 6, 1964, she married Hector Bournival. Together they lived in Biddeford for several years prior to moving to Lewiston in 1975.
She was a member of the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 11 and Holy Cross Church. Among her favorite enjoyments were cooking, shopping, animals, flowers and plants.
She leaves her husband of 40 years, Hector Bournival of Lewiston; nine children, Rita Caron and husband, Phil, of Lisbon, Roger Ringuette, of Lewiston, Gilbert Ringuette, of Lewiston, Roland Ringuette and his wife, Patricia, of Lisbon, Bert Ringuette and Jeanne Beaulieu, of Winthrop, Louis Ringuette and his wife, Linda, of Lewiston, Patrick Ringuette and Susan Blair, of Auburn, Marie Priscilla Ringuette, of Strong, and Susan Demeule of Lewiston; two stepchildren, Hector Bournival Jr., of Biddeford, and Rachel Letelieu, of Biddeford; 20 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Victor Bournival, of Lewiston.
She was predeceased by two daughters, Dianna Marie Ringuette and Diane Marie Ringuette, and five brothers and sisters.
