LEWISTON – Ducharme Masonry came from the losers’ bracket to beat Fireside Inn in capturing the post-season championship Sunday in the Lewiston Rec Fall Softball League.

The two teams had tied for the regular season title with identical 9-1 records.

In earlier playoff action, New Auburn (4) beat SOCHS (6); Roopers (5) rolled past Brunswick Steel (3); Fireside knocked off New Auburn; Ducharme beat Roopers; and Fireside advanced to the finals by topping Ducharme.

New Auburn then eliminated Roopers but was ousted by Ducharme. That set the stage for the Masons to get revenge on Fireside and claim the championship.
