• Oct. 16, 12:30 a.m. – A Mill Street resident reported a disturbance at a nearby residence. An investigation revealed a domestic incident. No charges were filed.

• Oct. 14, 8:30 a.m. – Vehicles driven by Danny Wing, 56, of Dixfield, and Kim Driscoll, 43, of Dixfield, collided when Wing’s vehicle left its parking space in front of the Laundromat on Main Street. Driscoll was exiting the driveway of a nearby residence. Wing’s 1993 Chrysler sustained an estimated $1,300 in damage; Driscoll’s 1988 Toyota, $50.

• Oct. 14 – A Common Road resident reported that two windows had been broken in the door of his garage sometime during the day. Neighbors had no information to offer pertinent to the incident.

• Oct. 14, 5 a.m. – Dayl Kaulback reported striking a moose near Morrison Hill on Route 2. Police found no evidence the moose was injured, but Kaulback’s 2004 Chevrolet pickup sustained an estimated $800 damage.

• Oct. 7, 4 p.m. – Gene Ellis of Ellis’ Variety reported receiving bad checks from a Carthage resident.

• Oct. 5, 4 p.m. – A Coburn Avenue resident reported a young tree had been pulled up by its roots.

• Oct. 3, 2:15 p.m. – A High Street resident reported reckless operation of all-terrain vehicles on Pine Street. Police were unable to find the offenders.

• Oct. 2, 8 a.m. – Amy Libby, no age given, of Meadowbrook Terrace in Dixfield reported accidental damage to an all-terrain vehicle on the Canton Point Road. The ATV sustained $1,500 damage when it came loose from a trailer on which it was being transported and crashed into a tree.

Arrests

Unless otherwise noted, all of the following are to be arraigned at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 4 in Rumford District Court:

• Margaret R. Forbes, 38, of Carthage, on a Franklin County warrant for failure to pay fines, and on charges of operating after suspension and possessing/displaying a suspended license, at 9 p.m. Oct. 16 on the Wilton Road.

• Dawn M. Knight, 31, of Dixfield, on a charge of operating under the influence of intoxicating liquor, at 1:10 a.m. Oct. 16 on Main Street.

• A 14-year-old Peru boy, on charges of operating without a license, eluding and passing a police roadblock, after leading Patrolman Jeffrey Howe on a chase of more than 10 miles, at 11 p.m. Oct. 10 in Wilton. He was released to his parents pending further legal action.

• Leo B. Turner, 54, of Mexico, on a charge of operating under the influence, at 12:15 a.m. Oct. 2 on Main Street. He is to be arraigned at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 7 in Rumford District Court.

• A 15-year-old Dixfield girl, on a charge of assault, at 9:45 a.m. Oct. 1. She is to be arraigned at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 7 in Rumford District Court.

• Walter S. Terhune, 55, of Hardwick, Vt., on a charge of operating without a license, at 11 a.m. Sept. 28 on Route 2. He is to be arraigned at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 7 in Rumford District Court.

Summonses

Unless otherwise noted, all of the following are to be arraigned at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 7 in Rumford District Court:

• A 15-year-old Dixfield girl, on a charge of possession of tobacco products, at 3 p.m. Oct. 6 on Weld Street. She was turned over to a family member.

• Alden McClure, 18, of Dixfield, on a charge of possession of a usable amount of marijuana, at 6:15 p.m. Oct. 2.
