The elections are close. Many have become caught up in the swell of sound bites and rhetoric. Before anyone goes and casts a vote, I beg everyone to take the time to pull some primary research on two to three issues.

Job creation, for example, can be examined at the Labor Department online or at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Web site.

People need to get some facts and not rely on this paper or CBS’ “60 Minutes” to give them the scoop.

This is not a childish game.
