LEWISTON – The Auburn-Lewiston Kiwanis Club has announced John Quirk and VIP Parts, Tires and Service as the recipient of the 2004 Outstanding Corporate Award.

The award is given annually to a business that has supported the Auburn-Lewiston Kiwanis Club in its efforts to serve the children of the Lewiston-Auburn area and improve their quality of life.

After hearing of the Auburn-Lewiston Kiwanis Club’s need for storage of the pancake breakfast equipment, Quirk and his VIP team donated a boxed trailer. The donation is vital in allowing the Kiwanis Club to return more of the breakfast proceeds to the Lewiston-Auburn communities instead of paying monthly storage fees.

Kiwanis President Dan Goff said the donation demonstrates VIP generosity, support and commitment to the Lewiston-Auburn communities, local community service clubs and kids of all ages and backgrounds.

Goff, presented the award to Quirk, president and CEO, and Scott McGary, financial analysist of VIP, for their support toward the success of the Kiwanis programs.
