LEWISTON – Lewiston-Auburn College will host two nights of candidate forums allowing voters to meet and hear candidates running in area State House races.
On Monday Oct. 25, candidates for 16 area House of Representatives races have been invited and will be available beginning at 6:30 p.m. for a reception, followed by questions and answers at 7 p.m.
The candidates are running for House seats representing Districts 68 through 75, and 80, 81, 96, 100, 101, 103, 104 and 105. The high number of House races means there could be about 32 candidates at the event.
On Thursday, Oct. 28, candidates in state Senate Districts 15, 16 and 17 have been invited to a similar forum. A reception begins at 6:30, followed by questions and answers of the six candidates at 7 p.m.
In both forums, each candidate will be given a few minutes to introduce himself or herself, before the questions and answers.
