CARRABASSETT VALLEY – A newly-opened trap shooting range operated by the Carrabassett Valley Outdoor Association will remain open for member and public use on Sunday mornings during November.

The facility will be available for use from 9 a.m. to noon from Sunday, Oct. 24, through Sunday, Nov. 28.

In the next six weeks, association members will be charged $3 per 25 shots and nonmembers will be charged $5.

The range is on Route 27, about 1.7 miles north of Sugarloaf access road.
