BUCKFIELD – Brad Bryant rushed for 165 yards to lead Livermore Falls to a 34-6 win over Dirigo/Buckfield in football action Saturday.

Dane Hanson went 3-for-4 in passing with 87 yards and one touchdown as the Andies remain undefeated on the season. Levi Hutchins prevented the shutout with an 18-yard reception from Dakota Holmquist in the fourth quarter for the Cougars.

Holderness 33, Hebron Academy 7

HOLDERNESS, Mass. – Roy Clifford tallied three rushing touchdowns as Holderness crushed Hebron Academy 33-7 in football action Saturday.

Nasir Yard ran in a touchdown from one yard out to start the second quarter, and with Jordan Krusch’s point after kick, Hebron (3-1-1) was down just 12-7 in the early going. Holderness (5-0) responded with an 80-yard pass and a 58-yard run for a 22-12 lead at the half.

Girls’ soccer

Maranacook 4, Lake Region 1

READFIELD – Aly Trafton and Jackie Mrazik each scored a goal and had an assist to lead Maranacook to a 4-1 victory over Lake Region in a Class B girls’ soccer quarterfinal Saturday.

Allison Mayer and Danielle Poulin also scored a goal apiece for the Black Bears (14-1-1).

THOMASTON – Sadie White found the back of the net off a rebound with 1:23 left in the game to give Mt. Abram a 1-0 victory over Georges Valley in a Class C girls’ soccer quarterfinal Saturday.

Roadrunner Briana Wilkins made five saves for the shutout (10-3-3).

Wiscasset 4, Lisbon 0

WISCASSET – The Wiscasset defense limited Lisbon to six shots and zero corner kicks to roll to a 4-0 victory over the No. 5 Greyhounds in the quarterfinals of the Western Class C girls’ soccer tournament.

The No. 4 Redskins (10-1-4) took charge early with a pair of first-half goals by Jessica Matzell and Jacklyn Yatsko. Colby Graffam added two insurance goals in the second half.

Gabrielle Mathieu made 16 saves for Lisbon (8-6-1).

Rangeley 4, GPC 3

PORTLAND – Sara Schrader had an outstanding game, scoring four goals including the game-winner in overtime to lift Rangeley to a 4-3 victory over Greater Portland Christian 4-3 in the Class D girls’ soccer quarterfinals Saturday.

Greater Portland recieved goals from Emily Johnson, Kelsey Yarborough and Caitlan Fillmore.

Kents Hill 3, Hebron 1

KENTS HILL – Jessie Roberts scored a pair of goals to lead Kents Hill (5-1-2) to a 3-1 win over Hebron (2-5-1) in girls’ soccer action Saturday. Katherine Cole scored Hebron’s lone goal in the loss.

Field hockey

Holderness 5, Hebron 0

HOLDERNESS, Mass. – Five different players scored as Holderness (7-2) blanked Hebron 5-0 in field hockey action Saturday.

Marley Lumbard had 12 saves for Hebron (2-5-1), while Alicia Smarse made three saves for Holderness in the win.
