A recent letter, Ida Luther (Oct. 16) stated that she was puzzled by the words, “Cameron can” in Rob Cameron’s Senate campaign ads. She also wrote, “Is it rude to ask, can what?”

Good question. Easy answer. Here’s what Rob Cameron can and will do:

• Make the tough decisions in Augusta to stop out-of-control spending.

• Work toward lowering Maine’s highest-in-the-nation tax burden.

• Promote a strong small business environment, which will produce good-paying jobs.

• Protect our rural hospitals from closure so that our families can continue to access medical care locally and not have to travel many miles to large regional hospitals.

• Set priorities and follow through on promises.

• Fully fund our local schools and lower property taxes.
