Political campaigning for the forthcoming election has gone on for too long.

I strongly support a constitutional amendment placing a strictly enforced moratorium on all political campaigning – speeches, TV ads, radio commercials, newspaper advertisements, etc.- for at least one solid week prior to the election. Give voters time to digest the baloney, pitch the garbage and decide what is of substance in choosing leadership for the next four years.
