OXFORD – George and Barbara Foster of Oxford are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Jake P. Foster, to Sarah E. Prouty, daughter of Tom and Debbie Prouty of Boothbay.
Mr. Foster is a 2001 graduate of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School and is currently attending the University of Maine at Farmington, where he is studying for a bachelor’s degree in secondary education with a concentration in the social sciences. He is the grandson of Lucille Favreau of Lewiston.
Miss Prouty is a 2001 graduate of Boothbay Region High School and is attending the University of Maine at Farmington, where she is studying for a bachelor’s degree in rehabilitation services. She is the granddaughter of Curtis West of Boothbay.
The couple plans to graduate from the University of Maine in the spring of 2005. They have set their wedding date for October of the same year.
