PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) – Police have determined the finding of two bodies in a Providence apartment last week was a double homicide.

Police got a tip from an anonymous caller that led them to the apartment at 22 Calder St., in the city’s West End on Friday. They found the bodies of Michael Sansouci, 40, and Nancy Sousa, 50, on the kitchen floor. An autopsy showed Sansouci died of multiple gunshot wounds, authorities said. An autopsy is scheduled for Sousa, according to police.

No arrests have been made. Investigators said they were called to the house multiple times last month because of a problem between the man and a neighbor.

There now have been 13 homicides so far this year in Providence.
