LIVERMORE FALLS – The Treat Memorial Library will celebrate its 50th anniversary at 56 Main St. on Saturday, Oct. 30.
The library was a gift in 1954 from Elsie Reynolds Treat in memory of her husband, George Winfield Treat.
An open house will be held Oct. 25-30. A special storytime for children will be held at 6:45 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. There will be a book giveaway from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday in the library auditorium.
Donation boxes will also be available, and all donations will be used to purchase new books. The public is welcome to visit the library anytime during the week.
