FARMINGTON – The University of Maine at Farmington’s Political Science Club will sponsor a debate on Question 2, the proposal to ban the hunting of bears with bait, traps or dogs. This debate will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, in the North Dining Hall of UMF’s Olsen Student Center. The event is free and open to the public.

The debate will feature Lisa Kuronya, spokesman for the Maine Citizens for Fair Bear Hunting, and Roger Lambert, spokesman for the Sportsmen’s Alliance of Maine.
