LEWISTON – Andrew Herman Morin, 67, a resident of Pleasant Street died unexpectedly early Sunday morning, Oct. 24, on arrival at Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Lisbon Falls, Dec. 14, 1936, the son of Florien J. and Catherine (Pruell) Morin. He was educated in Brunswick and Augusta schools and attended Mid State College in Lewiston. He first married the former Barbara A. (Moore). She died Aug. 16, 1995.
On July 4, 1998, he married the former Gracie “Misty” (Martin) Robinson. Mr. Morin was employed at Edwards Mill in Augusta and then for many years at Knapp Shoe in Lewiston before becoming diabled several years ago.
He was a member of the Past Time Club, and both the Acme Social and Snow Shoe Clubs. He enjoyed playing darts, pool and camping at many different camp grounds.
Survivors include his wife, of Lewiston; mother, of Augusta; four daughters, Penny McDonald, of Dresden, Donna Morin, of Auburn, Tammy French, of Dresden and Kathy Morin, of Sabattus; two sons, Joseph Morin, of Augusta and Russell Morin, of Vermont; three sisters, Patricia Roinstead, of Windsor, Katherine Morgan, of Readfield and Barbara McCarty, of Litchfield; one brother, Florian Morin, of Spring Valley, Calif.; numerous grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his father on Jan 1, 1992, and a daughter, Susan McCluskey on May 5, 1995.
