FARMINGTON – Everyone’s Resource Depot will hold Halloween mask-making workshops from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Oct. 28 and 29, and from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 30.
Many samples will be on display to show people how to start masks. Participants will be able to decorate their masks with a variety of materials such as felt, ribbon, leather, fleece, colorful foam pieces, shiny paper, buttons and other objects.
All ages are welcome to attend. A small fee will be charged, which will cover all materials and instruction.
During October, the Everyone’s Resource Depot features materials and ideas for making costumes, masks, and Halloween decorations. Anyone working with children in school or community groups is welcome to visit during business hours. It is in Franklin Hall at Main and South streets on the UMF campus. It is open to the public from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
