LEWISTON – Lillian D. Dutil, 79, of 951 Lisbon St., Lewiston, died Monday evening, Oct. 25, at d’Youville Pavilion, where she had been a resident since April.

Born in Westbrook, Nov. 13, 1924, the daughter of Adelard and Marie (Dionne) Turgeon, she had been a resident of this community since 1946.

Mrs. Dutil was a member of Holy Cross Parish, the Ladies of Holy Cross and the Holy Cross Senior Citizens.

She enjoyed listening to music, especially from the movie “South Pacific,” watching game shows, reading, cooking and making pastries. Most of all she loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Donatien “Don” Dutil, of Lewiston, whom she married on Jan. 21, 1946; one son, David Dutil and his wife, Anne, of Lewiston; two sisters, Louise Raymond and her husband, Frederick and Alice Babineau and her husband, Edgar, both of Westbrook; two grandchildren, Michelle Gardner and her husband, Brian of Brooksville, Fla., and Christine Dutil, of Lewiston; and two great-granddaughters, Mikayla Dutil, of Lewiston and Keeley Gardner, of Brooksville, Fla.
