• Police responded to the Midnight Blues Club on Court Street at about 10:15 p.m. Thursday after a caller reported a fight involving several people. Witnesses said about six to 10 men entered a back room in the bar and started a fight with another man. A bouncer for the club said he believes the scuffle had something to do with a conversation that took place at the club the previous night. All the people involved were gone by the time police arrived.

• Vehicles driven by Irene M. Franklin, 80, of 130 Hollister Drive, East Hartford, Conn., and Shawn P. Holbrook, 26, of Oxford, collided at 10:22 a.m. Monday on Washington Street. Damage to Franklin’s 2000 Ford was estimated at $1,200; to Holbrook’s 1989 GMC at $4,000.

• Sean R. Little, 17, of 29 Lahouillier St., was driving a 2000 Volkswagen on Garfield Road when he lost control of the car and hit a tree, then a shed. Damage to the car was estimated at $11,000.
