LEWISTON – The Norumbega Ensemble will present a concert of “Music for All Hallows Eve” in Saints Peter and Paul Church at 7:30 p.m. Saturday Oct. 30.

The ensemble consists of five musicians dedicated to bringing quality music to a wide audience. Their instruments include trumpets, trombone, French horn, tuba and pipe organ. In this case, the organ will be the great Casavant organ in the church, one of the largest church organs in the country, according to organizers.

For this concert, the ensemble has selected a number of seasonal pieces, many of which will be familiar to fans of old horror movies.

The church, the second largest in New England, has magnificent, reverberant acoustics good for concert music, the organizers said.

Admission is by donation. All proceeds will benefit the organ restoration fund. The church is at the corner of Ash and Bartlett streets.
