I am shocked and incredulous at the Sun Journal’s endorsement of George Bush. I still cannot believe it. Not only does this not make any sense after all of the editorials criticizing the many incompetent and self-serving actions of this administration, it immediately brings to mind the Sinclair Broadcasting debacle. It smacks of someone else calling the shots. That notion is reinforced by the poorly written endorsement.
I still can’t quite make out the stated reasons for supporting Bush – something along the lines that Sen. Kerry will spend more than Bush? Based on what evidence? Based on the current projected deficits? The huge tax cuts? The corporate giveaways?
This certainly makes me rethink any of the previous editorial opinions.
