LEWISTON – Yvette R. Neanover, 81, of 158 Russell St., Lewiston died Friday afternoon, Oct. 29, at Central Maine Medical Center following a long illness.

She was born in Lewiston on Sept. 25, 1923, the daughter of Edward and Marianne (Tremblay) Ouellette and had been a resident of this community all of her life.

She was employed in the shoe industry and at the Bates Mill. Prior to her retirement she was employed at the Pinette Funeral Homes for several years.

She was married to Hector Morin who predeceased her and later to Donald Neanover on June 28, 1975, he died on May 18, 1988.

She was a member of the Lewiston Senior Citizens and a member of St. Joseph’s Church.

Her enjoyments in life were listening to country music, playing beano and she loved animals.

She is survived by three grandchildren; a special niece that she raised, Madeline Boulanger, of Freeport; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two daughters, Suzanne Saucier June 21, 1993, and Sandra Baillargeon June 1, 1995.
