RENO, Nev. – The wedding of Katrina Elizabeth Beeckel and Steven Andrew Lund was held on May 8 at the Reno Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Mrs. Lund is the daughter of Peter N. and Carol S. Beeckel of Turner. Mr. Lund is the son of Richard and Nancy Lund of Reno, Nev.
The bride, accompanied by both sets of parents, wore a white gown with sequins down the middle and flowing skirt. She carried a bouquet of light pink Calla lilies.
Attendants for the couple were Kimberly Jones of Springville, Utah, sister of the bride, Kendra Elliott of Provo, Utah, Kira Beeckel, Katelyn Beeckel and KayAnna Beeckel, all of Turner, and Meagan Church of Provo, Utah, sister of the bridegroom.
A reception was held at the Wolf Run Golf Club in Reno, Nev., on May 8 and another reception was held on May 29 at Eli’s Restaurant at Turner Highlands in Turner. Following a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple is residing in Midvale, Utah.
The bride is a senior at Brigham Young University, majoring in recreation management and youth leadership.
The bridegroom received a bachelor’s degree in finance from Brigham Young University. He is employed at Merrill Lynch Bank in Salt Lake City, Utah.
