PORTLAND (AP) – Ryan Hollweg had a goal and an assist as the Hartford Wolf Pack scored four times in the second period to come from behind and defeat the Portland Pirates 4-1 Saturday.

Portland (5-2-0-0) took a 1-0 lead into the first intermission when Boyd Gordon scored on a power play in the first period.

Sixteen seconds into the second, Maxim Kondratiev tied it for Hartford (6-0-0-0) on a power play, then Hollweg’s goal sent the Wolf Pack ahead.

at 2:20. Blair Betts made it 3-1, and Jeff MacMillan added an insurance tally with 2:26 remaining in the period.

Hartford goalie Jason LaBarbera stopped 21 shots on goal in the winning effort. Loser Maxime Ouellet had 21 saves. Justin Eddy, in goal for Portland in the third period, recorded seven.
