NORWAY – Two computer demonstrations will be offered at the Norway Memorial Library in November. The first tutorial is intended to provide an introduction to PowerPoint from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 6, at the library on Main Street. PowerPoint is a software program used to create presentations that can be shown on a computer screen.

The second tutorial will be offered from 2 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 16, also at the library.

The topic will be how to search the Internet effectively, and is best suited for those with limited computer experience. This tutorial will compare Yahoo and Google searching and will provide suggestions for broadening and limiting search results.

Both tutorials are free and open to the public. Registration is required for both. For more information phone the library at 743-5309.
